Many children need a safe, caring and supportive home. They need patience, understanding and someone who can offer stability, encouragement and a sense of belonging.
Fostering looks different for everyone. You might support a child for a short time, help a young person prepare for independence, or provide a long term home. You do not need to have all the answers. You just need the willingness to care and the space in your life to make a difference.
This informal session gives you the chance to ask questions, explore what is involved, and speak directly with the team who recruit and support foster carers across the Island.
