Crossroads Isle of Man invites you to join them at the Work Café for a day dedicated to raising awareness of the vital role carers play in our community.
Throughout the day, their team will be on hand with a stand where you can drop in, learn more about what they do, and discover the support available for carers. For those who would like to speak in more detail, they’ll also have a private meeting space where conversations can take place one-to-one, offering a safe environment to ask questions.
This event is particularly relevant to the corporate community, as many people in the Island’s workforce are carers themselves. It’s an opportunity for businesses to understand how they can better support employees with caring responsibilities, and for carers working in corporate roles to learn about the help available to them.
Later in the day, they’ll be hosting an invited session where one of their carers will share their story alongside their CEO, giving an insight into the realities of caring and the impact that Crossroads services can make.
